Panic! on the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band structured out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is made from Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his youth buddy, Spencer Smiths (drums), which include their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To advertise their song, the band made touch with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) thru his LiveJournal web site. Impressed via the band, Wentz in my opinion met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band released their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which might debut at #112 on the Billboard 200 album charts.
Featured in Spin journal as their band of the day in early October 2005, achieving #1 at the MySpace chart, and constantly staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, could simplest aid grow the bands repute. An appearance on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, at the top-quality of their track video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band an awful lot exposure.
