Panic! at the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band founded out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is created from Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his childhood family member, Spencer Smiths (drums), along side their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).

To promote their music, the band made contact with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) by his LiveJournal webpage. Impressed via the band, Wentz individually met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band launched their debut album, kpop album unboxing A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which might debut at #112 on the Billboard 2 hundred album charts.
Featured in Spin journal as their band of the day in early October 2005, reaching #1 on the MySpace chart, and normally staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, might purely lend a hand develop the bands reputation. An visual appeal on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, on the superior of their music video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band an awful lot exposure.
To date, the bands 2005 debut album, A Fever you Cant Sweat Out has offered over 750,000 units. The band is at present headlining a North American summer time tour with The Dresden Dolls and The Hush Sound, a band also signed to Decaydance.
